In autumn 2019 we initiated a crowdfunding project for the publication of volumes 5 and 6 of Farocki’s writings in order to supplement the funding already acquired and to complete the edition of all published texts of Farocki. We managed to raise more than 5.000 Euro which enables us to to produce both volumes soon. We therefore would like to warmly thank all our supporters.

As a charitable organization we do not generate any commercial income. In 2018, to mark three years of existence, we wrote a letter to our supporters which is available as a PDF here. We are currently developing concepts for the future financial securing of the institute in order to guarantee our independent work.

In accordance with the notice of non-liability for tax issued by the Tax Office for Corporate Bodies I Berlin, from January 21, 2016, the foundation Harun Farocki Institut is entitled to issue donation receipts. Donations can thus be claimed against the tax and can be employed for the intended purpose without the deduction of administration costs.
