The HaFI’s archive is not conceived of as a self-contained inventory, but as an open collection of material with different functions and materiality which will grow over the course of time. The medium-term goal is the establishment of a workplace which interested researchers, curators, artists, and educators can turn to.
In particular, colleagues, friends, and students of Harun Farocki are expressly invited to donate material or make it available to the HaFI (project-related correspondence, screenplays and drafts, photographs etc.) which could be useful for the research into Farocki’s work.
"One has to wish for images that precisely reproduce small singularities of a specific time." (Farocki)
